North Garden wants everyone — including people who rely on assistive technology — to be able to browse our menu, find our hours and location, and place an order online with ease.

Our commitment

This website is built and served on the OrderExpress platform, which develops and maintains it to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Those guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Accessibility is handled once in the shared site engine and inherited by every restaurant site: semantic landmarks and a logical heading order, a keyboard-operable interface with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link, text alternatives for images, colour combinations checked against AA contrast minimums, and respect for a visitor's reduced-motion preference.

We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time checkbox. If you run into a barrier on this site — something you can't read, reach, or operate — please tell us so we can put it right and help you complete what you came to do.

Third-party and restaurant-supplied content

Parts of this site come from the restaurant or from outside services and are not fully within the platform's control. Menu text, dish descriptions, photographs, uploaded documents such as PDF menus, logos, and other branding are supplied by the restaurant, and some features (for example online ordering, maps, reservations, or reviews) may be provided by third-party vendors.

We ask restaurants to provide accessible content, and we vet any embedded third-party tool against WCAG 2.1 AA before it is allowed on a site. Even so, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of every piece of restaurant-supplied or third-party content. If any of it prevents you from getting what you need, contact us using the details above and we will provide the information or assistance you're looking for through another channel.

Ongoing efforts

We review the site engine against WCAG 2.1 AA as we add features, and we test with keyboard navigation, screen readers, and automated accessibility tooling. Standards, browsers, and assistive technologies keep evolving, so this is continuous work — your feedback is one of the most valuable ways we find and fix issues.
